The study aimed at developing Thinking Skills in Mathematics at the Preparatory Stage pupils using a suggested strategy based on Flipped Learning.
To achieve the objective of study, the researcher used experimental approach, precisely quasi – experimental, used test of Higher Thinking Skills. The sample of the study included (30) students for the control and the experimental group.
The result of the research revealed the following:
- There was a statistical difference at the level of (0,01) between the average of the control and the experimental group in the Higher Thinking Skills in favor of the experimental group.
- The strength of the correlation between the Mann-Whitney test and the Wilcoxon test in determining the significance of the independent variable effect on the dependent variable was a value .
The study suggests,
ð Adopting Flipped Learning Strategy for developing Thinking Skills at Mathematics.
ð Set programs to train those in charge of teaching how to use the Flipped Learning Strategy and apply it to all subjects, and show how lessons planning and implementation are conducted.
ð Activities and exercises are the optimal investment of the class and this occurs by using modern methods such as Flipped Learning Strategy.
